Abstract:
In the past decades, many astronomical observations by gravitational waves or direct images have confirmed that black holes are physical objects. On the other hand, as interesting entities for theoretical physics, black holes have simple structures but at the same time encode deep mysteries. In this talk, I will sketch the development history of black hole physics, explore the origin of the famous black hole information paradox from the thermodynamic interpretation of black hole mechanics, and discuss various new inspiring physics topics.
