Title: ALMA Observations of Protostellar Disks and Jets in the Early Stages of Star Formation

Abstract:

Protostellar disks and jets are seen around protostars in the early phase of star formation.  However, when and how they are formed are still uncertain. With the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA), we have observed and spatially resolved them in a few very young protostellar systems at unprecedented angular resolutions.  In this talk, I will discuss the formation of the disks and jets in some of these systems.
